To avoid problems of configuring on nova, you can get a copy of
config.h at here and a copy of
Make.defines at here and put
them in unpv12e. (1/22/98)
- To reduce the disk usage, a copy of libunp.a created on nova
is put at /users/csefac/cwd/libunp.a. You can set up a symbolic link
from your unpv12e directory to the library by
"ln -s /users/csefac/cwd/libunp.a libunp.a". (1/22/98)
- Compiling programs from the textbook:
Please use machine named nova. Configure and make. (1/16/98)
Each note has two versions:
a regular version and a slide version, with the slide version having an
extra 's' in the file name. Each version comes in three forms:
.ps, .pdf and .tex. Latex files are not self-contained. Please do
NOT print pdf files on sic_si.
